\Welcome to the Langenort website. For a few years now, the Langenort school of medieval European martial arts has organized weekly lessons in this old art. We do our best to treat it as a modern combat sport, which means that we also pay a lot of attention to techniques, tactics, overall fitness and condition, balance, etc. We follow a set lesson schedule, train in sport clothing and also hold internal competitions.
While we approach this historic martial art as a sport, we have not lost sight of the fact that the techniques are based on different circumstances than we have today, such as different clothing, traditions and lifestyles. However, each technique works just as effectively as it did 500 years ago.
